1. General

This Disclaimer applies to your use of the Aurum Book mobile application (“App”) operated by Hainan Paiji Digital Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”).

The App helps you record, organise, and visualise personal income and expenses using manual entry, budgeting tools, reports, and Aurum AI (an artificial intelligence assistant). It is mainly intended to help users improve everyday efficiency.

By using the App, you agree to this Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Summary (quick overview)

Aurum Book is not a bank, financial institution, or CBUAE-licensed entity, and does not provide payment or fund-holding services. This tool is mainly intended to help users improve everyday efficiency. Its analysis and suggestions are algorithm-generated and for reference only; they do not constitute any financial, tax, or investment advice. You bear the risk of decisions made in reliance on AI content. AI may err, and analysis is generated from data you enter — please verify before confirming. Optional AI credit packs are billed by the app store from which you downloaded the App. Full details are in the sections below.

2. Not a Financial Institution

Aurum Book is not:

• A bank, financial institution, payment service provider, e-money institution, or exchange house;
• Licensed or regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE);
• A broker, investment adviser, or portfolio manager;
• A tax agent or accounting firm.

We do not:

• Provide payment or fund-holding services;
• Hold your money or execute payments;
• Connect directly to your bank accounts (unless you manually enter data);
• Guarantee any financial outcome, return, or savings result.

Any references to “balance”, “budget”, “goals”, or “insights” are informational tools only based on data you provide.

3. Not Professional Advice

All content in the App — including algorithm- and AI-generated text, reports, charts, personas, briefings, reminders, and suggestions — is provided for general information and personal organisation / everyday efficiency purposes only.

Nothing in the App constitutes any financial, tax, or investment advice, including:

• Financial planning, trading, or insurance advice;
• Legal advice;
• A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any product;
• Professional accounting or audit services.

You bear the risk of decisions made in reliance on AI content. You should consult qualified, licensed professionals in the UAE (or your jurisdiction) before making significant financial, tax, legal, or investment decisions.

4. Aurum AI — Artificial Intelligence Limitations

Aurum AI uses third-party large language models and automated parsing. The current LLM inference node is in Singapore; requests are forwarded by our backend over HTTPS. Speech-to-text may run on your device or, when needed, via cloud speech recognition (see the Privacy Policy). For where processing occurs, sensitive account information we do not upload to the LLM or cloud speech services, and what may still enter model context, see Sections 7 and 8 of our Privacy Policy.

AI may err, and analysis is generated from data you enter. You acknowledge that:

We implement safety policies, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI output for your situation.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of records you save and any actions you take based on App content. Please verify before confirming. Do not paste passwords, full card numbers, national ID numbers, or similar sensitive raw strings into chat.

5. User-Provided Data

The App’s reports and insights are only as accurate as the data you enter. We are not responsible for:

• Errors or omissions in your manual or AI-assisted entries;
• Duplicate, missing, or fraudulent transactions you record;
• Currency conversion approximations;
• Budget calculations based on incomplete information.

You should reconcile important records against official bank statements, receipts, and payslips.

6. In-App Purchases (AI Credits)

• Optional AI credit packs are billed by the app store from which you downloaded the App (currently primarily Huawei AppGallery);
• Pricing, payment, and refunds are governed by that store’s terms and the information shown on the purchase confirmation screen;
• Free daily credits and purchased-credit entitlements or validity may change with reasonable notice, as described in the App;
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to AI providers, speech recognition, or third-party APIs.

When credits are exhausted, some AI features may be limited; basic manual bookkeeping remains available.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third parties (cloud hosting, AI models, speech recognition, app stores). We are not liable for:

• Outages, latency, or errors caused by third parties;
• Changes to third-party APIs, pricing, or availability;
• Actions of merchants, employers, or financial institutions you interact with outside the App.

Links to external sites (if any) are provided for convenience; we do not endorse or control them.

8. No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
• Accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement;
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or savings opportunities;
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the greater of: (a) AED 100; or (b) the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law (including applicable consumer protection regulations).

10. Regulatory & Tax Compliance

You are responsible for:

• Complying with UAE tax, customs, and reporting obligations applicable to you;
• Declaring income and assets as required by local law;
• Ensuring your use of the App complies with your employer or visa conditions (if relevant).

The App does not file taxes or regulatory reports on your behalf.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App or Aurum AI to:

• Plan or facilitate illegal activity (fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, etc.);
• Input false data intended to mislead others;
• Attempt to bypass usage quotas, security, or payment systems;
• Harass, abuse, or generate harmful content.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.

For users in the United Arab Emirates, your personal data is processed in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL). Nothing in this section limits your mandatory rights under UAE consumer or data protection law.

Disputes shall first be resolved by contacting xuhongfei@piazzi.vip. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the courts of Chengmai County, Hainan, China, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update this Disclaimer. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
